To send the team to the Nationals and cover for travel, hotel, and meals, the organizers have done what any community-based arts collective would do: we’ve started a Nitty Gritty PayPal Pledge Drive!

As a way to say thank you, we have set different levels of rewards for your donation that you can choose from. When we receive your donation (either by PayPal, check, or cash), you will get an email from Albany Poets where you can then choose your thank you gift:

• “Ten-Point-Zero” – A new CD of Team Nitty Gritty’s best pieces produced by audio wizard and Albany Poets.
• “Are You Writing Like Lyrics?”  - A chapbook of the best of the Nitty Gritty Slam and open mike poems, 2012.
• From the archives, vintage Albany poetry from the late 1990′s Albany scene: The print anthology “Open Mic” and the CD “Volume.” Plus a pass for two to any NGS.
