We are right in the middle of a very busy couple of weeks for poetry in upstate NY. This past Tuesday we had Nitty Gritty Slam #3 at Valentines. This time around Rain Dan took first place with the returning Victorio Reyes coming in second and Shannon Shoemaker taking third place. We have set up a results page so you can easily track all of the slam scores in the series. We are back at Valentines on the 18th for NGS #4.

This week we are kicking things off on Monday at Professor Javas for the monthly Wide Open Mic hosted by Keith Spencer. Signup starts at 7:15, the open mic for poetry, music, and comedy starts at 8:00. And while you are there, be sure to try one of their fantastic coffee and tea drinks.
