The monthly gathering of the Woodstock Poetry Society takes place this coming Saturday afternoon at the Woodstock Community Center starting at 2:00 PM. Host Phillip Levine is welcoming two fantastic writers this month, George Wallace and Stuart Bartow.

Poets George Wallace and Stuart Bartow will be the featured readers, along with an open mike when the Woodstock Poetry Society & Festival meets at the Woodstock Community Center, 56 Rock City Road, on Saturday, November 9 at 2pm.
George Wallace is author of 26 chapbooks of poetry, editor of Poetrybay, co-editor of Great Weather for Media. A regular on the New York City performance scene, he travels internationally as Writer in Residence at the Walt Whitman Birthplace to read, lecture and give workshops.
Stuart Bartow is a professor of English at SUNY Adirondack where he directs the school’s Writers Project. His last two collections are Reasons to Hate the Sky and Questions for the Sphinx, which won the Adirondack Center for Writing People’s Choice Best Book Award for 2011. He is chair of the Battenkill Conservancy, a grassroots environmental group. He is also a regular guest on the Poetry Forum
Next month, 2013 comes to an end with Dennis Bressack and Donald Lev, plus the Annual Business Meeting.
