TheLowBeat

We have another big week of poetry and spoken word coming up next week including a fresh Nitty Gritty Slam and the Third Thursday Poetry Night right on Central Ave. in Albany. This week’s slam is very special as it will be the very first poetry event at The Low Beat! We are very proud to be a part of the opening week of shows at Howard Glassman’s new venue. We had a long history at Valentine’s and now we are ready to begin a new future at The Low Beat.

Even in the midst of a very snowy winter, there are a lot of open mics, poetry readings, slams, and special events in the area, so go out and support local poetry!
