Daniel Summerhill D. Colin

Local poets Daniel Summerhill and D. Colin are bringing poetry and spoken word across the Atlantic this summer and they need your help to get there. They are scheduled to perform and lead workshops in Glasgow, London, Manchester, and Oxford from August 22 – 30.

When asked what this trip mean to him, Daniel said, “Since I was in middle school my dream has been for my poetry to take me around the world. And by going to Europe, I hope to learn, contribute, connect and grow from the intense poetry scene abroad.”

The duo, who have both represented Albany and Nitty Gritty Slam at the National Poetry Slam, have set up a GoFundMe page to collect donations to help cover travel and lodging expenses.
