The Katonah Poetry Series continues with a special reading from MacArthur Fellow Terrance Hayes at the Katonah Village Library.

A strikingly new twist on the traditional open mic/poetry reading, fusing live performance by poets and songwriters with a one-on-one, living room discussion between the artists and their audience.

2:30pm – 100 Thousand Poets for Change – Queensbury

SUNY Adirondack will host a reading/performance including local published poets plus Paul Pines and Dan Berggren.

6:30pm – Inquiring Minds Bookstore

Monthly open mic with featured readers Laura Lonshein Ludwig and Barbara Garro at the beautiful Inquiring Minds Bookstore in Saugerties, hosted by Brian Dorn.

8:00pm – Dead Metaphor Cabaret

Musician/Poets Curt & Nani Nehring Bliss perform and sing adapted poetry, original compositions, traditional tunes, and select covers (with a heavy dose of Tom Waits).
