What You Say / What I Hear

Words carried on the wind
mouth to ear

Translations in our brain

You say something about politics
about health / about books
I hear something about
connection / about the two of us
sharing space and years
sharing ourselves
with each other

I say something about the cat
about trees / about politics
you hear something about
harmony / about both of us
understanding
and believing
the same

Or something like the same
as though we two
are something like one

Perfect vibration
