Join us in celebrating the new poetry collection, Eagle and Phenix, by McCullers Center director Nick Norwood, with a reading and book signing. We’ll also toast our tenth issue of River River Journal, and celebrate our local writing community with an open mic. And of course, enjoy some holiday-cheer refreshments while we’re at it! Suggestion donation $5.
Nick Norwood’s poems have appeared widely in such places as The Paris Review, The Oxford American, Shenandoah, US Poet Laureate Ted Kooser’s American Life in Poetry, The Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keillor, Pushcart Prize XLII, and elsewhere.
