St. Rocco’s October reading at the Hudson River Coffee House with Carol H. Jewell, Sarah Wintz, & Malcolm Flanigan.
Carol H. Jewell is a musician, teacher, librarian, and poet living in Upstate New York with her wife and eight cats. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The College of Saint Rose in 2016.
Sara Wintz was born in Los Angeles and studied literature and writing at Mills College, Oxford University (BA), and Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard (MFA). Her first book, Walking Across A Field We Are Focused On At This Time Now (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2012) is an epic poem about the 20th century that explores the foundations of facts, time, and social identity.
Malcolm Flanigan is an undergrad at UAlbany. They are the fiction editor of the student-run e-journal Arch, and they haven’t been published many places because they never know what to write for the bio. Malcolm writes both poetry and prose, along with experimenting with photography and collage, often trying to blur the lines between form and medium.
